ACC Bowl Watch: Syracuse, Pitt enter showdown looking at warm-weather postseason destinations

Syracuse, N.Y. — The ACC’s quest to place two teams in the College Football Playoff remained on track last week thanks to wins by Miami and Clemson. The probability that all the league’s teams could move up another spot because Notre Dame makes the CFP also improved.
All of that means that Syracuse is currently projected by half of the national experts (and myself) to be headed to a warm-weather bowl game for the postseason and facing a Power-Four opponent.
